چکیده
Standard laboratory soil testing is deemed to be expensive and time-consuming. Utilizing a test kit considered cost-efficient time-saving way of testing. This project study aims develop prototype that detects parameters (i.e., pH, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) gives crop fertilizer recommendations after the sample has undergone treatment its acceptability for possible users. The development primarily used image processing detect needed lead recommendations. In evaluation effectiveness prototype, 50 trials were conducted per parameter. All said recorded as highly effective except nitrogen Low, which interpreted only. There 30 users invited assess prototype. A survey based on technology acceptance model was administered respondents garnering 4.85 weighted mean excellent. proven accepted device can pH primary macronutrient levels. It appropriate gathered data.

Revision of Potassium Soil-test Interpretations and Fertilizer Recommendations
There is a long history of potassium (K) fertilization research in the North-Central Region. Sustained Iowa field research efforts have focused on developing soil-test K (STK) interpretation and studying the effect of K fertilization strategies on grain yield and STK. Because of changes in the soil-test K method used in Iowa, information published over time should be evaluated separately. Publi...
متن کاملAssessing Relation of Soil Hydrophobicity and Soil Water Content and Determining Threshold Moisture of Organic Soil Samples
Soil water content is the most effective factor associated with the hydrophobic and hydrophilic changes in a soil. Water repellency in soils, is not a permanent feature; it can be reached in the dry season and reduced or eliminated in the wet season It can be said that in terms of moisture, there is a critical region that is defined as the threshold moisture content, where in lower moisture, th...
متن کاملEffects of Soil and Crop Management Practices on Soil Quality
Developing the concept of soil quality may help identify the soil and crop management practices required for environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable agriculture. Objectives of this paper are (1) to review current efforts to define soil quality, (2) to discuss factors and processes which influence soil quality, (3) to identify, soil and crop management practices that affect proce...
متن کاملSoil water, soil chemical and crop variations in a clay soil
Spatial properties of field soils vary in a complex manner. Especially in arid and semiarid areas, this variability affects plant quality and crop production. An experimental field plot was extensively sampled regarding soil water (378 gravimetrical samples), soil chemical content (314 samples), and crop yield and chemical content (26 samples) at the Cherfech agricultural field research station...
متن کاملFostering soil stewardship through soil quality assessment
Soil quality is not a purchased technology; instead, it is a concept that can be used in making land management decisions. Researchers have generally agreed upon the soil properties that determine soils’ capacity to function and have emphasized that soil quality must be understood in context. Soil quality research has included the following: (1) soil management research, where the effects of ma...
